
2018 Syrah
The wine has a medium to deep garnet purple color. The nose has hints of spiciness with notes of pepper, liquorice and violets. The palate is dense with layers of plum, berry and black olive. Fine tannins with mineral underpinnings and integrated acidity compliment this powerful, complex wine.

Soil type: Rocky Hillside soils with clay and sand
Vineyard: 3' x 6' spacing for Syrah. Biodynamic, dry farmed or minimal irrigation
Winemaking: Field, cluster and berry sorted fruit, 33% whole cluster, fermented in open top stainless steel, natural yeast for primary and malolactic fermentation. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Elevage: 18 months in neutral French Oak barrels and 24 months in bottle
